Maccabi VAC organized the Chanukah Futsal Tournament and Party for the fifth time in December 2014.
9 teams representing different Jewish organizations registered for the tournament. It was the first time that our neighbor, Maccabi Vienna also joined the holiday competition.
After the semifinals the participants could listen a Dvar Torah from our rabbi who then lighted the candles of Chanukah.
The players gladly tasted the kosher donuts.
The Israeli Cultural Institute and the Bálint Jewish Community Center were our partners in the event.
According to our traditions we invited the players to an Israeli culinary experience after the tournament.
