Sports equipment to Scheiber Jewish School
Maccabi VAC significantly supported the Scheiber Sándor Jewish School with sports equipment. We bought basketball hoop, badminton equipment, balls and many sports objects and accessories for the students. Due to the sport development program of Maccabi VAC, the sports equipment was renewed completely that ensures a higher sport education system for the students in the school.
Hand prints eternalized
Maccabi VAC initiated to eternalize the hand prints of great Jewish Hungarian sportsmen. The prints will be made by the ceramist, Klára Kósa. The series will be presented in an exhibition. The first athlete who gave her hand to this sport art project was the five-time Olympic champion, Ágnes Keleti.

Students and Teachers at the Jewish Athletes Exhibit
This September, we opened a temporary exhibit featuring Hungarian Jewish athletes. In addition to the artifacts, the Maccabi VAC provided many stories and information. Thousands came to visit our exhibit these past months. The entirety of the exhibit was presented with interactive methods and professional guides to the Jewish schools’ students and teachers.
Remembering Hanna Szenes
This November, the Maccabi VAC took part in the initiation of the Hanna Szenes park, organised by the Zionist Organisation. Many other groups and leaders of other Jewish groups attended as well. The Maccabi VAC believes that in addition to sporting events, events like this are incredibly important as well.
