This year, the Maccabi VAC took part for the second time in the Kishunhalas summer camp program! The Jewish community camp hosts about 50 children each summer, this being the 7th year of its operation. Through athletic programs, the Maccabi VAC introduced the history and function of the organisation. They introduced the history of the European Maccabi Games, as well as the Maccabiah. The children could take part in many fun activities and try our new sports, such as badminton, volleyball, table tennis and krav maga. In spite of the hot weather, our event was a huge success, and we hope that we’ve made a lasting tradition which the Maccabi VAC may continue to host every year.
