In the first quarter of 2014, for the first time MAZSIKE, Szombat Magazine and Maccabi VAC organized lecture series about Jewish sport history.
Great speakers gave a speech about several interesting and thought-provoking topics like: Sport propaganda in the fascist Italy, Hungarian coaches and football players in Mussolini’s Italy, the Jewish MTK Budapest, Vienna-Brno-Brooklyn as the golden age of Jewish football in the 20’s, chapters from the Zionist sport history and Maccabiah. Besides the written memories Maccabi VAC contributed to the program with several additional information, stories and pictures.
