The first annual VAC Youth Basketball Practice took place this February!
In addition to the Lauder and Scheiber schools, the Kerek and Radnoti schools also participated in the games.
The children were offered drinks and snacks to refuel during turns, and they also received new basketball equipment, courtesy of the Maccabi VAC.
The games were won by the Kerek Street School, with the Lauder team coming in second. Even though the Scheiber team has only been together for a mere 6 months, they finished in a respectable 4th place.
Children, parents and teachers alike enjoyed the games very much.
Our goal is to inspire the children with sport, and we hope we can organise similar events like this in the future.
