The Maccabi VAC’s soccer department took part this April in the interschool soccer games with the Scheiber school in the Zuglo cup. 14 teams took part in the games, and our team played 3 games. We won once and lost twice, so our team did not proceed to the finals. The winners were mainly soccer players from sport-oriented schools.
The athletes received proper equipment from the Maccabi VAC. Many students from the Scheiber school also took part in the games, some of those who will proceed to play in the summer soccer tournaments with the Maccabi VAC-Scheiber team.
The Maccabi VAC holds in high regard the 2010-2011 school year, in order to inspire the children about Judaism and sports.
